Literacy Partners

Literacy Partners is a New York non-profit that teaches adults how to read. The typographical identity system we created for them is both didactic and inspiring in nature, and is entirely based on the letters in “Literacy Partners.”

The system pairs bold colors with a simple, yet intriguing wordmark featuring the word “learn” in the right order. As it turns out, there are well over a hundred relevant words that can be made from the letters in 'Literacy Partners.’ They are used to label the various physical touch points, sometimes quite literally, sometimes more laterally, but each time the logo is altered to reflect those words.
